Janviere wishes to tell her sister Divine about all of the hardships that she has faced in her life, including her difficulties with her school, her friends, and her marriage. Yet despite all of these struggles, she trusted God, found people to help her, and most importantly, she had endurance. Divine learned a lot from her sister, and she said that she will continue to pray that God helps her throughout the rest of her life.

Claire asks a most interesting and bold question of her elder, Theopista: “In which time did you get hurt the most, and in which one were you happiest?” Her answer is not what is expected. In discussing her life, some of it spent in severe poverty, we learn that Theopista’s life took many sudden turns, from several tragic situations, to a more positive present. Claire is not shy to ask important questions from the role of curses, to how to choose a good partner.
