In this story, Esther learns about the life of her uncle, Deni. He tells her about the identity cards that they used to carry and about how his family fled to Burundi to escape violence. Despite everything that he has been through, he tells his niece that she should always concentrate on doing what is right.

Mudenge Leopard & Manzi Erick

Although Leopard and Erick are brothers, there are many things that Erick does not know about his older brother’s background. Leopard tells Erick about the time that he left home to earn a living, and emphasizes that the most important lesson he learned is that one should always strive to be on good terms with everyone. Erick receives pieces of advice about how to get along with all people, even those who are mean or who do not want to socialize.

Gugabire Janviere & Umurerwa Divine

Janviere wishes to tell her sister Divine about all of the hardships that she has faced in her life, including her difficulties with her school, her friends, and her marriage. Yet despite all of these struggles, she trusted God, found people to help her, and most importantly, she had endurance. Divine learned a lot from her sister, and she said that she will continue to pray that God helps her throughout the rest of her life.

Uwimana Grace & Nyirambarushimana Devote

Devote takes this opportunity to give her daughter Grace advice, for she wants Grace to live a better life than she did. She says that the most important thing is to work hard and always cooperate with others. She emphasizes that if you work well with others, than you can achieve much more than if you work by yourself. Grace is thankful for this advice, and she offers to help her mother to support the family.
